REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR TRAFFIC BLOCK AT DUM DUM JN.

Kolkata, April 15, 2024:

For strengthening and maintenance work for ballastless track at platform no. 5 of Dum Dum Jn. station, Traffic Block for 20 days (480 hours) has been planned from 18.04.2024 to 07.05.2024. Railway assure passengers that every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience during the Traffic Block period. The maintenance work is being undertaken with the long-term goal of enhancing safety and reliability. Consequently, the following arrangements have been made in train running from 18.04.2024 to 07.05.2024:

30346 Bongaon Jn.-Majerhat local will short-terminate at Dum Dum Cantt., 

30344 Bongaon Jn.-Majerhat & 30324 Hasnabad-Majerhat locals will short-terminate at Barasat, 

30142 Gede-Majerhat local will short terminate at Ranaghat & 30711 Lakshmikantapur-Majerhat local will short-terminate at Ballygunge. 

*• Short-origination:* 

30331 Majerhat-Habra local will short-originate from Barasat, 

30311 Majerhat- Barasat local will short-originate from Dum Dum Cantt.

*• Short-origination & Diversion:* 

30317 Majerhat-Dattapukur local will short-originate from Ballygunge and will be diverted via Up Chord line.
