Narayana Hospital RN Tagore Hospital Launches Eastern India’s first Cone Beam CT Cath Lab: Advancements in Interventional Therapies

Kolkata, 16th January 2025 - Narayana Hospital RN Tagore Hospital, Mukundapur, has launched a second interventional radiology catheterization laboratory (Cath lab), making it the first facility in Eastern India equipped to perform simultaneous interventional procedures. This new Cath lab with groundbreaking technologies significantly enhances the institute’s capacity for advanced vascular and oncological care, establishing it as a leader in innovation and treatment outcomes. 

The new dual interventional Cath lab is equipped with the first Canon Cone Beam CT Interventional Cath Lab system in India, a technological breakthrough that offers superior precision, reduced radiation exposure, and enhanced system mobility for better patient access.
