YLF Pride of Bengal Awards 2025Honoring Excellence, Celebrating Heritage.

The 6th edition of the YLF Pride of Bengal Awards will take place on Saturday, 26th February ’25, 8:00 PM onwards at JW Marriot, Kolkata. This prestigious event, hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce’s Young Leaders Forum (YLF), is set to be an evening brimming with recognition, celebration, and inspiration.
The ceremony will bring together some of the most influential figures from various fields including music, film, fashion, business, and sports, to honor Bengal’s finest individuals for their exceptional achievements. This year, the event will feature Bollywood stars Neha Dhupia, Mouni Roy, and popular singer Manali Thakur, among other distinguished personalities.
Since its inception in 2018, the Pride of Bengal Awards has grown to become one of Kolkata’s most anticipated and celebrated events. The awards ceremony will recognize 15 remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to their industries and communities, embodying excellence and resilience.
Speaking on the occasion, Pratiik Jalan and Sagar Agarwal, Chairpersons of YLF, shared:
“The Pride of Bengal Awards is not just an evening of accolades - it’s a tribute to the extraordinary individuals who are shaping the identity and future of Bengal. As we celebrate our sixth edition, we are proud to spotlight stories that inspire, lead, and uplift the spirit of this region.”
The evening will  include captivating award presentations, live performances, and a glamorous after-party to keep the celebrations going into the night.

কলকাতা, ১৫ই মে ২০২৫ শ্রী রাজীব সাক্সেনা, বিভাগীয় রেল ম্যানেজার (ডিআরএম), শিয়ালদহ, শিয়ালদহ বিভাগের সমস্ত টিকিট পরীক্ষক কর্মীদের জন্য একটি বিশেষ লোগোসহ পরিচয় ব্যাজ উন্মোচন করেছেন। এই অগ্রণী পদক্ষেপটি শ্রী যশরাম মীনা, সিনিয়র ডিভিশনাল কমার্শিয়াল ম্যানেজার এর তত্ত্বাবধানে বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে। নতুনভাবে নকশা করা এই ব্যাজ এখন থেকে সকল টিকিট পরীক্ষকদের জন্য ইউনিফর্মের একটি আবশ্যিক অংশ হবে এবং এটি ভুয়া টিকিট পরীক্ষকদের শনাক্ত করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে। এই অভূতপূর্ব পদক্ষেপের মূল লক্ষ্য হলো যাত্রীদের সুবিধা ও নিরাপত্তার জন্য প্রামাণিক কর্মীদের পরিচয়কে স্পষ্টভাবে দৃশ্যমান করা এবং কর্মীদের মধ্যে দায়বদ্ধতার মানসিকতা আরও জোরদার করা। ডিআরএম/শিয়ালদহ জানান, এই দূরদর্শী উদ্যোগটি ভারতীয় রেলের টিকিট পরীক্ষক কর্মীদের মধ্যে একটি নতুন মানদণ্ড স্থাপন করবে। লোগোসহ এই বিশেষ পরিচয় ব্যাজ টিকিট পরীক্ষণের কার্যক্রমে দক্ষতা, স্বচ্ছতা ও বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা অনেকাংশে বাড়িয়ে তুলবে, যা যাত্রীদের জন্য আরও নির্বিঘ্ন, সুরক্ষিত ও নির্ভরযোগ্য ভ্রমণ অভিজ্ঞতা নিশ্চিত করবে।

জাপান ক্যারাটে ইন্ডিয়ার বার্ষিক গ্রেটেশন এক্সামিনেশন

 ক্যারাটে ইন্ডিয়া অর্গানাইজেশন এবং ক্যারাটে অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অফ বেঙ্গল দ্বারা অনুমোদনপ্রাপ্ত জাপান ক্যারাটে ইন্ডিয়া (JKI) ২০২৫ এর বাৎসরিক বাৎসরিক গ্রেটেশান পরীক্ষা সম্পন্ন করল দক্ষিণ চব্বিশ পরগনার  বারুইপুর রবীন্দ্র ভবন সংলগ্ন আনন্দমেলায়। রবিবার এই পরীক্ষায় ২০০রও বেশি পরীক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করেন।  হোয়াইট বেল্ট   থেকে শুরু করে ইয়লো, পার্পেল, গ্রিন, সহ ব্ল্যাক বেল্টের পরীক্ষা দেয় পরীক্ষার্থীরা। আন্তর্জাতিক খ্যাতি সম্পন্ন পরীক্ষকরা এদিন পরীক্ষা নেয়। বেল্ট গ্রেটেশন পরীক্ষায় জাপান ক্যারাটে ইন্ডিয়ার  ন্যাশনাল রেফ্রী এবং জাজ ট দেন ব্লাক বেল্ট জাপান ইউকে কাইয়ো সিহান সেবাশীষ দাসের নেতৃত্বে সম্পন্ন হয়। তার উদ্যোগে এই জেলার পাশাপাশি অন্যান্য বেশ কিছু এলাকায় সেল্ফ ডিফেন্স এর পাশাপাশি ভবিষ্যতে নিজেদের কর্মসংস্থানের এবং ক্যারাটে তে দেশকে নেতৃত্ব দেওয়ার প্রশিক্ষণ পেয়েছেন। আগামী দিনে জাপান ক্যারাটে ইন্ডিয়া থেকে আরো বেশি সাহসী ছেলেমেয়ে দেশকে নেতৃত্ব দেবেন বলে আশাবাদী  সেবাশীষ দাস। একইসঙ্গে দেশের নিরাপত্তা সহ পুলিশ এবং অন্যান্য ক্ষেত্...
