Healthcare Meets Humanitarianism: Ms.Tandrani Das Dey Leads Mega Welfare Camp in Kmc Ward: 93

​Kolkata|June 27th 2026:- ​A noble humanitarian initiative came to life this Saturday at the Devi Sangha Club (8, Rahim Ostagar Road, Kolkata-700045), under KMC Ward No. 93, where a free eye check-up camp, along with a spectacles and gift distribution drive, was successfully organized for underprivileged children.
​The social welfare event was spearheaded by Ms. Tandrani Das Dey—A prominent social worker of Kmc-Ward 93 and an old veteran, active BJP member—alongside her dedicated team of associates from her home ward. Conducted from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the camp aimed to raise awareness about eye health among local residents while spreading joy among children from economically weaker sections of society. In another touching gesture of support, a wheelchair was also donated to a physically challenged individual from the locality.

The camp witnessed a massive turnout, with numerous residents taking advantage of the complimentary eye check-up facility. Medical professionals were on-site to conduct preliminary vision screenings and offer essential guidance on eye care. The local community highly appreciated the initiative for bringing vital healthcare services directly to their doorstep.
​A major highlight of the day was the distribution of gifts to needy children. The venue was filled with heartwarming moments as the children beamed with excitement and gratitude upon receiving their presents. Their vibrant smiles beautifully reflected the true essence of community service and compassion.
