1ST INDIAN INTERNATIONAL OPEN 2026: PROGRAM SCHEDULE AND KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The inaugural 1st Indian International Open 2026, a WDF Silver Category championship organized by the All India Darts Association (AIDA), is scheduled to take place in Kolkata from September 10 to September 12, 2026. The official inauguration ceremony will take place on Thursday, 10th September at 5:00 PM, graced by Mr. Sankar Ghosh, Hon'ble Tourism Minister of West Bengal, alongside eminent dignitaries from the fields of sports, film, and fashion. The tournament will conclude with the final prize distribution ceremony on Saturday, 12th September at 5:30 PM, where Dr. Indranil Khan, Hon'ble Sports Minister of West Bengal, and Mr. Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon'ble Member of Parliament and President of AIDA, will present the awards to the winners.

​This landmark event features elite competition between India’s top darts talent and internationally renowned professionals, with participants competing for prize money and vital WDF Ranking points. Coinciding with AIDA’s 25th anniversary, the championship highlights advanced production standards, live scoring, digital broadcasts, fan engagement initiatives, and the promotion of grassroots youth development. Additionally, the event incorporates a dedicated Para Darts 

Championship recognized by World Para Darts, UK, with top performers earning selection to represent the nation at the World Para Darts Championship 2026. Under the leadership of AIDA President Mr. Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the association continues to expand the sport across educational institutions nationwide, with upcoming plans to introduce darts at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.
